A riff on the song “ I Wanna Be Your Dog” by The Stooges, this playful phrase quickly became my new email and handle online. Drawings shifted to better paper, then paint, and eventually settled into a digital realm. They say the eyes are the window to the soul and I feel this is where I capture the essence of each individual portrait. It never gets old handing over a commission and seeing someone’s face light up with the love for their pet.
